
Client Agreement
House of Order provides professional organizing services, which may include (but are not limited to): home organization, decluttering, donation coordination, coaching, and home systematizing. Services will be tailored to the client's needs as discussed during the consultation and agreed upon prior to the start of each session.
Refunds
Refunds will be issued for hours not provided and at House of Orders discretion.
Cancellation Policy House of Order
Cancelation is preferred to be done within 24 hours of service.
Rescheduling or cancelations may be done up to 2-3 times. On the 3 or 4th occurrence, at House of Orders discretion, priority booking may be revoked and/or forfeiture of no more than 3 hours of package may occur.
House of Order reserves the right to reschedule due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances. Should this occur, clients may be offered a service of up to $50 in value.
Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to be present or available during sessions unless otherwise agreed.
The client is responsible for all decisions regarding what is kept, discarded, or donated.
The client will ensure safe access to the space and a work-friendly environment.
1. Confidentiality
All client information, personal data, and household details are kept strictly confidential. Photos may be taken to document progress, but they will not be shared publicly without written consent.
2. Liability
House of Order will treat your belongings and space with the utmost care, integrity, and respect. However, we are not liable for accidental loss or damage to items. The client agrees to hold House of Order harmless from any claims related to organizing services.
3. Disposal and Donation
With the client’s written or verbal consent, House of Order may assist in removing items for donation or disposal.
House of Order is not responsible for the value of donated/discarded items.
House of Order will never sell any donated or discarded item.
Health and Safety
Please disclose any health or safety hazards in the space (e.g., mold, pests, allergens).
House of Order reserves the right to decline services in unsafe or unsanitary conditions.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with written notice.
In the event that an individual who has purchased services a refund of 50%-100% may be issued based on services provided and time spent at home.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the services provided, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to mediation in the state of Kansas, in the province of Manhattan.
Hazardous Conditions
The client agrees to disclose any known issues including but not limited to: pest infestations, mold, biohazards, or unsafe conditions. House of Order reserves the right to halt services if conditions are deemed hazardous, and the client may still be responsible for the session fee.
Third Party Vendors Disclaimer
House of Order may recommend third-party service providers. The client is responsible for hiring, payment, and communication with these vendors. House of Order is not liable for their services, actions, or outcomes.
No Guarantees Disclaimer
Organizing success depends on client engagement and follow-through. While House of Order strives to deliver transformative results, no guarantees are made regarding the duration of results, emotional impact, or space functionality post-service.
Time Tracking & Session Termination Clause
Session time begins at the scheduled start time or when the organizer arrives on-site, whichever comes first. Sessions may end early if the client is unresponsive, uncooperative, or the space is unsafe—fees will still apply.
Entire Agreement
This document reflects the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior discussions. Any modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
